Victoria's Secret outlet vacating space at Mohegan Sun

Mohegan — The Victoria’s Secret outlet at Mohegan Sun has closed and will vacate the space this week, its Ohio-based owner, Victoria’s Secret & Co., confirmed in an email Tuesday.

The store, specializing in women’s intimate apparel, had operated in a prominent location opposite Tuscany, a casino restaurant. Mohegan Sun will soon announce plans for a new retailer there, according to a casino spokesman.

Victoria’s Secret closed nearly 250 stores in 2020 and planned to close dozens more this year, its previous parent company, L Brands, announced earlier in the year. Victoria’s Secret & Co. was spun off from L Brands in August.

A Victoria’s Secret outlet continues to operate at Crystal Mall in Waterford.
