    Serving Trey

It was seven years and four months ago that Trey Anastasio went an entire day without jamming and carving out a song.

Indeed, the singer/songwriter/vocalist most associated with Phish, has written more songs than anyone in the history of music.

That’s just TWO WEEKS of jottings in Trey’s “To-do” calendar.

Of course — recurring theme, here — in addition to Phish, Anastasio has his own Trey Anastasio Band as well as several other side-project bands and a long list of guest stints with folks like the Grateful Dead.

Fortunately, Anastasio’s as talented as he is prolific. He brings his eight-piece TAB to Mohegan Sun’s Arena Saturday. There is no way to know what the set list will be, but that’s part of the fun. Goose opens.

Trey Anastasio Band, 7 p.m. Saturday, Mohegan Sun Arena; $50.50-$70.50; www.mohegansun.com.
