We’ve probably reached a point in musical history where people who mention Genesis and their “Foxtrot” album no longer immediately think of singer Peter Gabriel peering from the stage wearing a fox head and one of his wife’s dresses.

IF they’re even aware that such things actually happened.

That stuff was cool if you were around for it, but a lack of general awareness today only means the magnificent music from that disc stands alone — and very well, at that.. The guitarist on “Foxtrot,” Steve Hackett, brings his band Friday to New London’s Garde Arts Center and will perform “Foxtrot” in its entirety — along with select gems from his impressive solo career AND a few other Genesis highlights.

Hell, bring your OWN fox head. This will be epic!
