    Iliza Shlesinger hits Foxwoods Saturday

Heretofore, a lot of comic Iliza Shlesinger's routines have focused on the ludicrous aspects of being a single woman in what passes today for a World. It's very funny and oft-pointed stuff and, in fact, she recently expanded her audience for such things beyond the stage with a book of essays titled "Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity."

Wait, though! Shlesinger got married last year, so does she now segue her focus into that other time-honored goldmine for standup: The Spouse?

It's worth finding out. Shlesinger returns Saturday to Foxwoods for a show in the Fox Theater. She's on the road behind "Elder Millennial," her fourth Netflix standup special and a thematic piece in which she traces her own real-time evolution against the cultural changes from the 1990s until now. Maybe that includes newlywed stuff and maybe not — but she's as self-effacingly witty as she is when targeting society at large.

Iliza Shlesinger, 8 p.m. Saturday, Foxwoods' Fox Theater; $31-$41; 1-800-200-2882.
