Exactly how DO all those famous mystery writers pull off their magic? In his book "The Storytellers," author/journalist/psychiatrist Mark Rubinstein gets answers from a wondrous array of bestselling crime writers — and the questions go WAY beyond "Where do you get your ideas?"

Rubinstein is our guest Tuesday for an in-person "Read of The Day" book club talk and signing at Mystic's Bank Square Books. "The Storytellers" includes conversations with dozens of authors ranging from Lee Child and Michael Connelly to Meg Gardiner, Dennis Lehane, Laura Lippman and Don Winslow. The source material for the book comes from a variety of interviews Rubinstein conducted over the years for the Huffington Post.

Copies of "The Storytellers" will be available for purchase and signing. Attendance is free, but reservations are requested.
