Norwich's St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival returns on Sunday

    Norwich St. Patrick Parade

After a hiatus last year because of the pandemic, Norwich is once again hosting its St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival.

The Sunday procession begins at 1 p.m., starting and ending near Otis Library on Main Street. In between, it travels Franklin, Willow, and Chestnut streets, and Broadway.

The parade, whose grand marshal this year is Angela Adams, is organized and funded by Norwich Events Organization.

The parade is followed by a festival, during which people can take a tour of downtown establishments to hear live music and sip beverages; sites include Billy Wilson’s Ageing Still, Epicure Brewing, Harp and Dragon Pub, Pie Hops/Latin Quarter, Strange Brew Pub and These Guys Brewing. In addition, food trucks will be selling dishes around the downtown area.
