    Arts Cafe Mystic closes fall outdoor poetry season with Saturday program

    The Arts Cafe Mystic closes its fall outdoor poetry series at 2 p.m. Saturday on the patio of the Mystic Museum of Art.

    Jeffrey Harrison, who has recieved fellowships from the Guggenheim and Bogliasco foundations and the National Endowment for the Arts, headlines the program. In September, Four Way Books published Harrison's sixth collection, "Between Lakes."

    The session's Opening Voice will be Barbara Hill, whose newest new chapbook is "A Few Sharp & Glamorous Words." Musicians Gregg Piccolo and Bill Morrison will provide a tuneful presence. 

    Social distancing and safety precautions are required. The Mystic Museum of Art is located at 9 Water St., Mystic. The program is $15 general admission, $5 students, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Call (401) 241-2592 or visit www.theartscafemystic.org.
