Vets Rock returns to Mohegan Sun on Friday. It’s a day where active-duty military and veterans are celebrated with various programs and resources.

The activities on Friday include the Vets Rock Expo in the Uncas Ballroom, which boasts a career fair, along with veteran service organizations, educational services and companies that provide benefits to veterans and military members.

Veterans and current military members can register ahead of time through Save-A-Suit for a complimentary suit while supplies last.

At the 1:30 p.m. opening ceremony at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, Sun president and general manager Jeffrey Hamilton will present a check to the Robert Irvine Foundation to support service members, vets, first responders, their families, and those in need.

(And people attending Vets Rock, be aware that there is also the Connecticut International Auto Show at the Sun’s Earth Expo & Convention Center from Friday through Sunday.)
