This weekend is North Stonington Agricultural Fair

The North Stonington Agricultural Fair marks the unofficial start to the ag-fair season in our region, and this year’s festivities kick off on Thursday and continue through Sunday.

There are so many aspects to this event. On Saturday alone, there is a kids parade, a pie-eating contest, a goat show, an oxen pull, a nail-driving contest, a ham-and-bean supper, and a Bon Jovi tribute band.

North Stonington Agricultural Fair, 5-11 p.m. Thurs. and Fri., 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Sat., and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sun., 21 Wyassup Road, North Stonington; $12 for ages 10 and up, free to kids under 10; (860) 535-3956, northstoningtonfair.org.
