Sift Bakery, Mystic

There are a lot of folks who are remembered for one-sentence ephipanies. "I think, therefore I am." "God is dead." "The unexamined life is not worth living." "Winning isn't everything; it's the only thing." High caloric food for thought, all! But how about this? "There is no sorrow in the world that cannot be vanquished by baking any combination of butter, cinnamon, sugar, and dough." Yes, I said that — and by golly I'm right! Of course, there will be a variances in the degrees of excellence within the butter/sugar/cinnamon/dough system — and at the very top of delicious possibilites is the ebbioche at Sift Bakery in Mystic. It's giant, too, and for only $3.50, the ebbioche is an incredibly cheap answer to every problem.
