East Lyme, particularly the Niantic section of East Lyme, has become a popular dining destination. So the eateries don’t necessarily need a “Restaurant Week” to draw diners, but we’re glad they are doing it anyway.

The Niantic & East Lyme Restaurant Week runs Thursday through March 17. Each of the almost 30 venues has its own special offering. Some have prix fixe menus. Others have more their own specific deal. At Zavala Mexican Bistro in Flanders, for instance, you can get one margarita and one entrée for $24. At Castello of Niantic, you get a $10 gift card if you spend $50; the spot also has a prix fixe menu for $24.24.

If you buy two items at Taza Grill, you get the third free. If you buy two items from the cases or café at GG at Home, you get a half-bottle of wine to drink there or take home.

Niantic & East Lyme Restaurant Week is presented by Niantic Main Street.

Restaurant Week patrons can also enter to win an overnight stay at The Niantic Inn and a $100 gift card to their favorite participating East Lyme and Niantic eateries with the Restaurant Week Passport.
