TBBCF reports recent successes

The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation will fund three breast cancer researchers and six additional years of breast cancer research, with funds raised by this year's Walk Across Southeastern Connecticut and a multitude of fundraisers by supporters. The foundation has funded 21 research grants.

The Walk Across Southeastern Connecticut on Oct. 6 hosted 310 registered walkers and more than 200 volunteers and included a full 26.2-mile marathon, a half marathon and a quarter marathon. The 2013 walk is scheduled for Oct. 5, 2013.
