Ledyard's Baber resigns as girls' basketball coach

Adam Baber, who guided Ledyard High School to a berth in the Class L semifinals, has resigned after four seasons as girls' basketball coach.
The job has been posted on the the CIAC website.
Baber has reportedly accepted a full-time teaching position at Fishers Island.
The Colonels went 42-9 the past two seasons, winning the Eastern Connecticut Conference Medium Division championship in 2013 and sharing the Large Division title with Norwich Free Academy in 2014.
Ledyard was 22-4 in Baber's final season, losing in the state semis to unbeaten Hartford Capital.
