    H.S. roundup: NFA girls earn fourth straight lacrosse win

    Norwich — Katie Kelly had seven goals and an assist as Norwich Free Academy won its fourth straight game with a 17-11 nonleague girls' lacrosse victory over Berlin on Monday.

    Kayley Ericson added four goals for the Wildcats (5-2), while GG Guerrier and Catie Shannon each scored twice, Mackenzie Shrewsbury and Ria Kilimos scored one goal apiece and goalie Jillian Brunelli made 12 saves.

    Berlin is 1-2.

    Boys' lacrosse

    • Rob Swenson scored a game-high eight points as East Lyme outlasted Branford 14-8 in a nonleague game. Swenson finished with five goals and three assists for the Vikings (3-1), who outshot the Hornets 44-29.

    Also for East Lyme, Connor Schofner and Ryan Bellandese each had two goals and one assist, Scott Galbo had one goal and two assists, Andrew Alden had a goal and an assist, Dalton Franco, Alex Jakubczak and Aiden Paterson each scored once and goalie Mac Fusaro stopped eight shots.
