    UPDATED: School-by-school spectator policies for winter sports home events

    Due to the steady rise of COVID-19 cases throughout the region, the Eastern Connecticut Conference announced Monday that it will limit spectators at all ECC events (all sports, all levels) until Jan. 31, at which time it will reevaluate the situation. Following is a list of policies submitted by schools in The Day's coverage area:

    ECC

    Bacon Academy

    • Four tickets per-athlete. Fans can watch any home game online by subscribing to NFHS network.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    East Lyme

    • Four tickets per-athlete, although athletic department has plan in place to accommodate those with more than four in immediate family. Coaches will submit list on game day and family members can purchase tickets at door.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    Griswold (revised)

    • Four tickets per-athlete, including cheerleading.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    Ledyard

    • Four tickets per-athlete. Passes are athletic department-issued (set for each specific team) and allows the pass holder to purchase a ticket for entry. Fans can watch any home game online by subscribing to NFHS network.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    Lyman Memorial

    • Four tickets per-athlete (family only) and tickets are non-transferable. Athletic department will be sending out a Google Sheet to families to fill out in advance. Fans can watch any home game on youtube.com (search Lyman Memorial athletics)

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    New London

    • Two guaranteed spectators via athletic department-issued passes, then next 100 home fans on first-come, first served basis. Fans can watch any home game online by subscribing to NFHS network.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    NFA

    • Four tickets per-athlete. Fans can watch any home game on youtube.com/norwichfreeacademy

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    St. Bernard

    • Four tickets per-athlete. Basketball tickets must be purchased on GoFan via a link that is provided to parents by athletic department. Fencing admission is free, but families must be on invite list.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    Stonington

    • Immediate families only (parents, stepparents, guardians, siblings). Fans can watch any home game online by subscribing to NFHS network.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    Waterford

    • Four tickets per-athlete (cash sales only at door). Athletes will receive information directly from coaches regarding logistics. Fans can watch any home game online by subscribing to NFHS network.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    OTHERS

    Grasso Tech

    • Allowing spectators for both home and away teams. Athletic director or site supervisor will cap at door if numbers grow too large and proper social distancing can be maintained. Spectators can be turned away at door, if necessary.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

    Old Lyme

    • Allowing spectators for both home and away teams with no limits as of Monday. Fans can watch any home game online by subscribing to NFHS network.

    • Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status, and no food or drinks will be allowed in facility.
