I would like to take this opportunity to recommend that you support and vote for Kate Southard for a position on the Montville Town Council. Kate is a highly respected teacher in Stonington and has chosen to live in Montville for the past 18 years because of our school system.

Kate will work tirelessly in trying to eliminate some of the acrimony between the Town Council and the school board and has the right background to help accomplish that. As a fresh, new face on the council, I believe she can help break down some of the negativity and bullying that currently prevails with some of the current council members. She will encourage voters to look past party politics and to come to decisions that are in the best interest of the people of Montville.

My work with her as a board member of the Montville High School Athletic Boosters has convinced me she has the skills, aptitude and personality to achieve these goals, and that she will make an excellent council member.
