On Feb. 1, the Goodwin Elementary PTA in Old Saybrook held its annual Fun Fair at the school. Goodwin families and the public spent the day playing carnival games, getting their faces painted and winning prizes. With the community's support, Saturday's Fun Fair was able to raise more than $900 for the Goodwin PTA.

The Goodwin PTA Fun Fair Committee would like to thank all the Goodwin parents and Old Saybrook High School students who helped set up and run the fair while also thanking the following local businesses that graciously donated their time and products to the fair: Paesan's Pizza, Fiore's Pizza, Pizza Palace, Paperback Café, Taylor Rental, Adam Stillman (for donating the whistles that all the parents love to hear), and Engineered Specialties Corp.
