One of the things I admire about state Senator Heather Somers is that although she holds a powerful position as a co-chair of the Public Health Committee, she has never forgotten her constituents. I have had the need to contact Somers several times in the past two years about state laws and regulations that pertain to my profession in the health care field. I called her office and immediately received a return call. Somers understood the complicated issues I detailed, and she provided key assistance as legislation benefitting patients went through the legislative process.

From my personal experience, I have seen a dedicated, competent and hands-on legislator. She has served the district well.
