Again: Seat belts save lives

It is sad about the teenager killed on Block Island, “Connecticut teen killed, driver charged in Block Island crash,” (Aug. 10). A suggestion: Your reporting does not mention if any of them were wearing seat belts. Why not make it standard policy to ALWAYS include that information? It could save lives. If the police do not know, include that (might shame them).
