Formica has helped sustain marine industry
State Sen. Paul Formica has truly delivered when it comes to protecting jobs in Connecticut. He is a leading advocate for keeping and growing jobs in the marine and recreational boating sector, an industry so important to the Connecticut shoreline.
Formica was an instrumental figure in Hartford advocating to keep our service departments and marinas open in the early days of the pandemic. His efforts allowed us to remain open during our crucial spring launch season while still adhering to the strongest health and safety standards that protected our customers and our employees.
During this period, we were able to keep our employees working and provide our customers a much-needed safe outlet on the water with their families.
There are thousands of jobs in the marine industry in our state and we thank Sen. Formica for his efforts in keeping these people working.
