The publishing of Peter Stafford's letter, “We need a real president,” gives me hope that The Day has seen the light and now will bring the real world to its readers. My earlier letter to you citing the presidential oath, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” was my attempt to break the lock step The Day has with the Washington Post.
