    Probate and estate planning to be held at Stonington Free Library

    Stonington — The second in a series of four events designed to explain the probate and estate planning will be held at the Stonington Free Library on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m.

    The series is being co-sponsored by The Southeastern Connecticut Regional Probate District, the Estate and Tax Planning Council of Southeast Connecticut, Dime Bank, Chelsea Groton Financial Services and Washington Trust.

    The Nov. 29 event, in conjunction with the Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut, Inc., will include a panel of experts consisting of attorneys Paul Holland, Kathleen McNamara and Wade Jensen who will provide an introduction to estate planning and identify the various types of estate assets as well as examine the types of ownership and their significance. There will be time for questions.

    The final two sessions are Jan. 15,  Estate Taxation and the Use of Trusts and Feb. 12, a wrap up session. For additional information call the library at (860) 535-0268.
