The Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Committee of Connecticut will hold its fourth annual outdoor celebration at the PNA Park in Wallingford Sunday April 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This free event is open to the public and features live music, custom cars and motorcycles, vendors and family entertainment.

VFW Post 591 sponsors the event at the park, which is at 171 North Plains Industrial Road, Wallingford. There is a rain date of May 4, 2014. The sponsors describe the event as a way for the entire communtiy to “pick up the pieces of the past and thank our Vietnam veterans with a long overdue welcome home.”

Those unable to attend this fundraising dinner are asked to consider a donation to be used to grant VA Hospital soldiers an opportunity to have an evening out and be the guests of honor at the dinner.
