Swimming area at east end of Rocky Neck closed

East Lyme – The swimming area at the east end of Rocky Neck State Park is closed after it failed water quality tests, the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced today.

The beach at the west end of the park remains open for swimming.

All other swimming areas at state parks around the state are open.
