Man's Death In North Haven House Fire Being Investigated

Fire officials in North Haven are trying to determine what caused an early morning fire that killed a man whose body was found in the basement. Firefighters were called to the house on the 1700 block of Hartford Turnpike early Sunday morning, just after midnight.

Authorities say another man in the home called 911 after a smoke detector went off and woke him up.
