East Lyme, Old Lyme plan double garbage collections following storm
East Lyme — For residents with Tuesday garbage and/or recycling pickup who did not have an opportunity to put their cans out on Monday, the town's Public Works Department will do double collection — both Tuesday's and Wednesday’s routes — on Wednesday.
The Public Works Department said people should have their cans out at the edge of the road by 7 a.m. The Transfer Station should be open by 8 a.m. Wednesday.

In Old Lyme, trash pickup will resume Wednesday for Tuesday’s route. Both Wednesday's and Thursday's routes will be picked up on Thursday, according to a town notice.
