Saint Bernard School in Uncasville has named Anna Graul of Ledyard and Sarah Engel of Waterford as the May Students of the Month.

Engel, a sophomore, is a member of Student Council and Campus Ministry, a Student Ambassador, and president of International Club. She also plays tennis and swims and is a published author.

Graul, a seventh-grader, is her homeroom representative and recently volunteered to clean up the school courtyard with the rest of Student Council. She plays the piano, flute and bells and participates in gymnastics and Girl Scouts.
