Old Saybrook — The Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce will host a legislative update with state Sen. Paul Formica, R-East Lyme, and state Rep. Devin Carney, R-Old Lyme, from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, at the Vicki Duffy Pavilion, 150 College St.

The legislators will discuss "the current legislative session with a particular focus on businesses, Connecticut's budget, and the newly released report from the Commission on Fiscal Stability and Economic Growth," according to a notice from Carney.
