Nine authors of books on local history will be featured at noon Saturday during a roundtable discussion at Groton Public Library.

The authors represent all nine of the volumes of Groton-Mystic history available from Arcadia Publishing and The History Press. Panelists will be open to questions from the public, and autographed copies of each volume will be available for purchase.

The authors include Groton Town Historian James L. Streeter, who has written six books about Groton and is a columnist for the Times weeklies operated by The Day.

Others are M. Earl Smith, a professor of literature, and Jade Huguenin, who co-authored with Smith a recent book examining Mystic postcard history; Leigh Fought, an associate professor of history at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y.; Lou Allyn, president of the Mystic River Historical Society; Lisa Saunders, co-author of "Images of Modern America: Mystic"; Hali Keeler, past president of the Avery-Copp House Museum board of directors and a member of the Groton Bank Historical Association who authored "Ghosts of Groton Bank"; Courtney McInvale, founder of Seaside Shadows Haunted History Tours of Mystic, and William J.
