The Thames Towboat Co. tug John P. Wronowski transits northbound on the Thames River on Friday. The tug, built in 2004 for Thames Towboat at Eastern Shipbuilding in Panama City, Fla., is one of two assigned to submarine escort duty and based at the U.S. Naval Submarine Base in Groton.
