Local students honored by DAR for history essays

An American History Essay Contest Awards ceremony was held at the April meeting of Anna Warner Bailey Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution covering Groton and Stonington. Students were asked to write a essay on The 19th Amendment: The Women’s Suffrage Campaign. First place went to Olivia Head, second place went to Peyton Noe (who was unable to attend the ceremony), and third place went to Connor Harris.
