The Majestic, a 200-foot luxury yacht worth an estimated $70 million, was drawing attention from passers-by Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at City Pier in New London. The vessel, built in the Netherlands by the Dutch superyacht-builder Feadship, was purchased by Bruce Sherman in 2010 for $69.5 million, according to the Broward Palm Beach New Times. Sherman is majority owner of Major League Baseball team Miami Marlins. The yacht can be chartered for between $455,000 and $490,000 per week, according to Curbed Miami, and includes a cinema, gym and water toys, among other amenities. Sherman is majority owner of Major League Baseball team Miami Marlins.
