    Stonington — Borough Highway Department employee Gary Farrell and foreman Sue Cordeiro were using gas-powered leaf blowers Thursday to clear the lawn of Wadawanuck Square.

    Cordeiro, who has worked for the highway department for 38 years, says this is the third, of likely four, clearings of the lawn this fall.
