WHO: Five families currently homeless and staying at our emergency shelter.

AGENCY: Covenant Shelter of New London

THEIR SITUATION: Five families with children currently are staying at our shelter. Due to illness and unemployment, our families are in need of basic assistance to help them get by while we help them find stable housing. All our families are actively seeking work, and none has reliable transportation.

WHAT TO GIVE: Small-dollar amount gas cards (Stop and Shop cards can be used for gas!), small-dollar amount gift cards from Walmart, Target or other local stores, bus passes, sweatshirts and sweatpants of all sizes. For the children and babies, arts and craft kits for the children, washable plastic toys, baby bottles, wipes and baby blankets.
