Three Rivers offers 16 full scholarships for nuclear engineering program
Norwich — Three Rivers Community College again is offering 16 full scholarships for its two-year nuclear engineering technology degree program, in partnership with the College Foundation and Dominion Energy.
For the program beginning in the fall, the application deadline is Feb. 15.
The program, the only one of its kind in New England, educates students on nuclear power generating stations through classroom, laboratory and simulator instruction, Three Rivers said in a news release.
Along with covering tuition, books and fees, the scholarship guarantees a $150-per-month stipend and a 12-week paid internship at Millstone Nuclear Power Plant.
For more information on the scholarship or curriculum, call program Chairman James Sherrard at (860) 215-9472 or visit threerivers.edu/nuclear.
