    Boy Scouts place flags to show pride in their country during pandemic

    Stonington — The rainstorm broke late Thursday afternoon, in time for scouts to take to the streets of Pawcatuck with a mission of patriotism and unity.

    Members of Stonington Boy Scout Troop 9 fanned out to place American flags along Route 1 in downtown. The troop wanted to show pride in the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
