Waterford — Eva Pazzaglia, 18 months old, went walking through a field of daffodils Wednesday while visiting Harkness Memorial State Park with her grandmother Pam Britagna and mother, Jen Pazzaglia, all of Waterford.

"We have to get outside even in the cold," Britagna said of their decision to take a walk on the chilly day.

According to the National Weather Service, the colder weather should continue, with highs in the mid-40s on Thursday and Friday.
