Rained out at the beach in East Lyme
East Lyme — A group of friends, Ryan Novick, C.J. Rufsnider, Liza Derry, Summer Antonino and Ava Lombardo, headed home from McCook Park in Niantic on Tuesday, after giving up on a day at the beach.
They are all rising ninth-graders at East Lyme High School.
More rain and potentially some storms are in the forecast for Wednesday.
