Stonington lawyer recognized as a 2021 Lawyer of the Year

Joan Vorster of Stonington has been recognized by Best Lawyers as a 2021 Lawyer of the Year in the area of medical malpractice law for defendants. Vorster, a partner in Worcester-based Mirick O’Connell, represents health care providers, hospitals, insurance companies and employers. She is a two-time recipient of the honor and one of 17 attorneys in the firm recognized this year.
