Vintage car owners and aficionados flock to Ocean Beach Park in New London for the first Classic Car Cruise Night of the summer Monday, Sept. 14, 2020.

The event, in its 22nd year, would normally be holding the final night of the summer, but the season was put off throughout the summer due to coronavirus restrictions.

More than 100 cars turned out Monday evening after the park posted on social media inviting people out for the event.

Park manage David Sugrue said he hopes to continue to hold cruise nights on Mondays as long as the weather holds and attendees can continue to observe safety protocols.
