Norwich — The registrars of voters announced Wednesday that there are four ballot drop boxes in different parts of the city and encouraged voters to return absentee ballots for the Nov. 3 election as soon as possible.

Ballots either can be mailed through the U.S. Postal Service or placed in the secured official ballot drop boxes, which are emptied by the city clerk and a police officer several times per day.

No ballots will be counted until Election Day.
