Hiking with friends in Oswegatchie Hills in East Lyme

East Lyme — Some things are just better with friends.
Leslie Ridgeway, Theresa Goodrich, Shiala Higgs and Jo-Ann Sine-Calise, all of Gales Ferry, went hiking together at the Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve on Wednesday. They trekked to the top of the preserve for a picnic lunch before making their way back down again.
"We try to get together for a walk or hike as often as possible," Ridgeway said.
