Memorial Day celebration in Pawcatuck

Stonington — A Memorial Day celebration will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with a ceremony, guest speaker, and light lunch at VFW Post 1265, 160 South Broad St., Pawcatuck.

The event will observe COVID-19 pandemic safety regulations and social distancing guidelines. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Westerly-Pawcatuck parade will not be held this year. A headline in the May 5 edition and a story in this week's Night & Day section were incorrect.
