New London — Al Wells was taking a break from his walk Thursday just as Andrew Rodman — both are residents of of New London — passed by on his own walk at Fort Trumbull State Park.
Rodman was stretching his legs after his cardio workout at a gym earlier in the day.
The Coast Guard barque Eagle was docked in the background.
