    Los Angeles-class submarine has a turn in Thames River

    A U.S. Navy Los Angeles-class attack submarine met up with the Thames Towboat Co. tug John P. Wronowski to take on a harbor pilot Tuesday at the mouth of New London Harbor.

    The unidentified submarine, from the Flight II construction block of the class, transited as far as the turning basin off General Dynamics Electric Boat, where it turned around and then headed back to sea.
