Norwich — Three Rivers Community College will be hosting an open house for high schoolers and their parents or guardians, as well as interested adult learners.

The event will be held on Wednesday, May 4, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the campus, 574 New London Tpke, and is free to attend. While people can drop in at any time during the event, RSVPs are recommended at threerivers.edu/openhouse. For more information, call (860) 215-9020.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff and current students, as well as learn about academic programs, flexible course options, seamless transfer to four-year colleges and student support services. They'll also be able to learn about how to finance their education, including about the Pledge to Advance Connecticut, or PACT, program that offers free college for eligible first-time, full-time students. Three Rivers has the lowest tuition in the state, according to a news release about the event.

College applications will be available and can be completed at the event.
