Michael Hawes recently joined Chelsea Groton Bank as Assistant Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer.

“With over two decades of business relationship management, 12 of which were dedicated in banking, Michael excels at simplifying his clients’ day to day operations to achieve their business goals,” said Rich Balestracci, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Department Manager at Chelsea Groton Bank, in a release.

Most recently, Hawes was VP of Commercial Business Development and Financial Wellness at People’s United Bank, Bridgeport, where he grew new and existing business relationships throughout Connecticut.
