    Norwich Free Academy marching band prepares for their season

    Norwich Free Academy marching band members gathered at the school Thursday during their first week of band camp to get ready for their season.

    Band director Kristen Motola said the band has 73 members and 40 of them are new to the marching band. A limited number are middle school students that are planning on attending NFA.

    The band’s show this year is “Atlantis City Under Water” and will be performed in eight marching band competitions that includes the nationals in Pennsylvania.
