New London home assessments to begin

New London ― The city has hired Vision Government Solutions Inc. to complete its state-mandated revaluation program.

The reassessment project will establish market value of properties as of Oct. 1, 2023 and will be reflected in the tax bills issued in the summer of 2024.

The project started with the mailing of data summary documents to all owners of residential properties. The fax number on some letters was inaccurate. The correct fax number is 860-447-5225.
