    Let’s Go: LYME-OLD LYME LIONS CLUB TO HOLD ITS FIRST ANNUAL NIGHT OF GIVING

    The Lyme-Old Lyme Lions Club will host a "Night of Giving" at its upcoming full membership meeting on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. at Memorial Town Hall, 65 Lyme St., Old Lyme.

    Eighteen local charities and organizations will receive a donation of funds raised during the year through the various Lions Club activities and fundraisers, including their Annual Car Show held during the Midsummer Festival, and the Annual Pancake Breakfast held on Super Bowl Sunday at Lyme-Old Lyme High School.

    In addition to the local organizations, the Lions also donate funds to many state and regional organizations which support the five global causes of vision, diabetes, childhood cancer, hunger, and the environment.

    Lyme-Old Lyme Lions Programs are free and open to the public. The Lyme-Old Lyme Lions also welcomes new members. A social Jan. 26 starts at 6:30 pm. The program begins at 7 pm. Call Karen Geisler at (860) 434-5321 for more information.
